‘Slip ery Slope’ by Victoria Mastropietro

Poetry

I wonder if I slip
into your mind
when you’re with
her
Do I fit
in her skin?
Stretch out her
willowy limbs?
Cloak myself in her dress?
Her voice?
An echo
Do you hear me
when she opens
her mouth?
